Question Door locks

Got out of the truck today, pushed the lock button on the door, and when i went to use the key fob to unlock it, nothing. I even tried my other set of keys, and it didn't work. For the 1st time ever, i had to use the key in the door to get in the truck. I know that there's some way to disable the locks, but does anyone know how to get it back to normal? i know there's some combonation that ya gotta do, but i don't know what it is . Any help? THanks

The PCM goes into battery save mode after a couple minutes if you use the door lock switch rather than the fob. If you don't want this to happen, then you can't use the switch when you exit the vehicle. I learned all about this when I installed my alarm/remote starter. It was a major PITA to bypass.

what PCM stand for?

I always use the lock button on the door when i lock it and the key fob to open it. never had any problems before. I guess i should mention that when i went to lock it today from the passenger's side, only the passenger door lock locked, and the drivers didn't so i had to push it again. 1st time that happened, thats why i don't know if i messed up the setting somehow. I'll have to check out the manual. what a pain in my @$$. thanks anyway guys

You need to read your manual, definitely.

weird, its working today just fine, didn't touch a thing. Maybe the batteries in the fobs are getting low, or maybe she didn't wanna go anywhere yesterday after that long trip and she just wanted to rest and thats why she wouldn't let me in
