outnumbered question on your gauges

They look great and i wanted to pick them up for my dad's truck. Where did you get them and what was the price? I assume you did the boost and which other gauge did you do? Installtion pretty easy?

Thanks
Jason

Jason,

The gauges are made by Nordskog and I purshased them from Summit Racing. I have the boost gauge, as well as an air/fuel gauge (that I do not like). The boost gauge gives you an actual reading--much easier to read than an analog.

The gauges are electrical vs. mechanical so a sending unit was needed for the boost gauge. Prices are as follows:
Boost - 39.95
Sending unit for boost - 39.95
Air/fuel - 39.95

As far as installation, I had someone else do it.; you need to know your wires in order to install. You have to know which wire is the O2 sensor wire in order to connect the A/F gauge.

However, I am going to be removing these and installing a set of AutoMeter Ultra Lite gauges--boost and Exhaust Gas Temperature gauge (much more reliable than A/F gauge).

Hope this answers your question.

Damned good choice! Your gonna like them... the silver face and bezel nearly match the factory speedo and tach perfectly. I've had about a half dozen friends ask me if they are factory installed! Make sure and have your installer tap into a power wire that is controlled by the dash light dimmer switch. One of the guys on the Lightning board suggested the wire that goes to the drink holder/ash tray light, but my mechanic at the dealership found one that was easier to get to right behind the dimmer switch--took him about 10 minutes. Without the dimmer they can be distracting on long drives at night. Also make sure and put the little green caps on the light bulb in each gauge, it nearly matches the stock dash lighting perfectly.

Hey Sling,

It was actually your comments prior to this posting that made me want to switch. Thanks for your input to the forum!
