Thumbs up Did the 3/4 drop!

I finally got the lowering kit installed. I was really quite skeptical, particularly since I still don't know the brand I bought. Anyway, I am most pleased with the outcome! It could be just my imagination but, the truck seems to ride better, smoother. Could be just me. It is a great deal lower, you can really tell getting in and out, but still not too low. For those contemplating a drop, 3/4 seems almost perfect. I was charged $375 for labor plus alignment. A cam alignment(?) turned out to cost $225. I don't know if this is about right or not but, I also got $100 military discount and paid no tax. $500 out the door!

Later this month I'll change the grill. (If I could confirm the fit) Street Scenes have not answered their phones yet. Later this year, a new hood with cowl (any suggestions?) And next year, the coup-de-gras, SUPERCHARGER!

Sorry so long, I'm a happy camper!

Gene

an awsome hood to get is cervinis ram air hood. if you want cowl induction, they also make those (www.cervinis.com). all i've heard about them is about their amazing quality and fit. Here's 2 pics of the ram air hood on a 00 L. Its the same one i wanna get, and i wanna get the flames too, but in a red color. let us know what you decide.
