2" rear drop

I'm finally gonna lower my 00. Everyday she seem's like she's growing taller. I dont know why, i guess its cuz i'm on here all the time and i see tons and tons of lowered trucks, now my 00 looks too high. I know before it looked great, but now you guys got me started And i thought it was bad when i had the bed loaded with sand bags for the winter, now she looks higher than ever now that i took them out . I wanna get a 2 inch rear drop so its not too complicated, and so i don't have to mess w/ the front. From what i've heard so far, i should get the belltech? I'd appreciate any help or advice you guys can give me. I'm a carpenter so i have the tools, and i have some know-how with trucks, but i could still use some advice, like where's the best place to buy em at. Thanks.

Got mine from www.LightningPerformance.com . $50 plus shipping, they were in my hands in less than a week. Top quality, fit perfectly. No regrets.

Harley#356, let me know how you make out. I'm looking at that as my first mod.

slingshot, did you do the install yourself (or watch whoever did)?

I'd like to do it myself. I'm thinking it's not that big a job, but I've never fooled with leaf springs before, and I sure don't want to get whacked!

Nope, my dealer actually installed them as part of the make-ready before I took delivery... no extra charge. I did tip the mechanic $20 to go back the next day and change them to the 2" hole (initially had them at 1"--don't waste your time).

know your feeling--took the weight out this weekend on the '00 as well but....don't really want to look like a low-rider--a bit torn on lowering the rear since I like the idea of it looking like a normal F150 from the rear until you catch it from the front or the side with the wheels. Post pix when you do it.
