Just ordered lid...

Getting an Innovation Sport Lid... low-profile, smooth with a small spoiler (not wing) on the back with molded in LED brake light, fully lined with pull strap. Painted matching Dark Shadow Gray... a guy at the Harley shop here in town is going to hand paint a flame design in the middle of the cover to match the ones on the side. Also thinking about a Bed Rug... Will post pics when all installed.

Slingshot,

It's a good thing we live so far apart from each other because our minds are thinking exactly alike; all the way down to the flames on the lid!!!!!!!!!!!

That is one of the sweetest looking covers I've seen. Do you have to drill the truck on installation? How is the paint finish?

thats a nice lid!!! i think i'll like it better on the L though. It kinda goes with that "fast ashell" look and attitude of the L, but i'll have to see some pics, It'll definately look sweet w/ some flames . It would really compliment the side pinstripes on the HD. cool idea. Here are 2 pics of my HD's harley tonneau, i wanna get the Harley F-150 emblem painted on.

...of course I plan on being able to back up the "fast as hell" look soon . Chip, filter and 4 lb pulley in the near future... who knows what after that. Seriously, I have no ideas of beating the modded L's, but do plan to be able to put the hurt on the stock ones . Mid 13's would be nice.

slingshot, good luck! I can't wait to see the cover with the flames on it. That would be cool if you could beat some stock L's. Imagine the look on their face if you burn em with a crewcab full of kids

slingshot: i really like the cover.. just be careful installing it. it will rub the paint off if you dont watch out.

BigIke: i had to drill holed for my cover to go on.. i think they have a clamp on system now.
the paint that came on the cover is just as good as the factory paint.

i'm glad you guys like it..

I got the clamp-on mounting--like $35 extra. How does it rub the paint off?
