Which Bed Lid is best?

Hi All,

I recently grabbed a 2001 HD SC from my local dealer and want to add the best bed lid I can get my hands on to the truck. I've been looking at A.R.E., *******'s, and a few others.

Do any of you have hard covers on your trucks and if so could share some info with me?

I personally dont like the look of the ARE hoods....but im not you, if you like that look, go for it. ******** has very good lids. The X2000 is VERY high quality but it also costs around $700. I believe Autobahn Wholesale has it for around $500 though. Snuglid's are very low profile and in my opinion look VERY nice. Dont know about their prices though. Stockland is another good company.

Leer makes one that looks almost identical to the ones that came stock on some of the 00's. Its in the accessories catalogue at the ford dealers for the f150. It will fit the screw bed also, i'll try to post a pic sometime. very nice looking. goodluck
