I know this is a little to early, but does anyone know what features the 03 HD's will have?

 

a little too early? your about 8 months too early. lol you're probably gonna have to wait until the sema show this year in late october. Cuz thats when we found out all about the 02, everything else before would just be rumors and speculations like before. but it'll probably have some special stuff, cuz it'll be the 100th anniversary of both HD and ford . i can't wait to see it, but i'm still keepin my 00. (the 1st and rarest of the HDs )

There were some rumors that it will be a regular cab with the flareside...like the lightning. These were only rumors though! The should definetly change the model they are using for the Harleys. 2 years in a row of Supercrews....if they go for 3, they probably dont be as successful...maybe they will go back to the extended cab?

Who knows....

 

i also heard in truck trend or something that it may be a superduty or suv. ya cant ever tell what its gonna be until its out. everything else is just a guess, and then the rumors start. No point in trying to figure out what it will be, cuz there's only one way to find out.....wait.

 

The first time I ever saw an 02 hd was at the nascar race at Atlanta last Nov. The rep that was there wouldn't tell me what the 03 was going to be, all he said was it was going to be bigger. So take that for what it's worth.

 

the f150 line is in for a re-design; can't remember if Ford is talking '03 or '04 but wouldn't the timing be right for the finale edition to be the new design since both Ford and Harley have a time limit on this agreement?

And like other 00 owners, still like the look of our editions the best--got the real wheels back on this weekend , washed it, and boy, it looked like a piece of vehicle sculture just standing still!

 

Yeah Im so glad I got a 2000. I cant wait to get pictures up for it, although its not like you have never seen one before

 

I agree that the 00's look nice, but you can't beat the room, comfort, and of course the ***** to the wall accelarations like the 02's.

 

yeah the 00's do look nice , but as for the room, we actually have more room (referring to bigger bed, and more seating) as for comfort, front seats are the same, and for the rear, the bench is fine for short trips, and okay for long ones, but the buckets are more comfortable, but still less seats. and as for the acceleration, well my 00 will burn your 02 anyday of the week. J/K! lol, don't i wish you guys got that one all over on us (i love that s/c whine noise). But they all have their fine points, and are the best looking trucks on the road. I wonder if for 03 if the HD is a screw, if ford will do like the king ranch and have a bench seat option instead of teh buckets for the rear of the screw, would be more practical for some people.

 

Well... I think all of them are great. Each one is unique. I'm glad that I don't see a HD at every stop light like some other trucks.

 

BigBlackHarleyF150, did you get your truck yet? i wanna c some pics. oh yeah, and about that not seeing the HDs at every stoplight. I don't know about other people, but for me i usually don't see another harley for about 2-3 weeks, and then one day i'll see 2 or 3 all in one trip, then it'll be a while and i'll see one, and then 2-3 weeks and then i see another 2 or 3 in the same trip. weird and most of the time they aren't the same harley each time. i dunno

Hehehe I did get my truck. I have two screen names. I've sent an email to the webmaster asking him to consolidate them. By the way, I think I was the first on this board to get the 02HD. I posted pics a about two months ago. I'm taking new pics and will post them soon once I get my new screen name.
