WELL I PLACE MY ORDER FOR MY 2002 C/C HD SHAWDOW GREY, MOON/R, HEATED SEATS,& 6 DISC. IN CANADA FORD WILL NOT ACCEPT ORDER AT THE FACTORY UNTIL FEB. 4TH. BUT AT LEAST I WILL GET THE ONLY HD THE DEALERSHIP IS ALLOTED AND KNOW WHAT IT WILL COST.

HAVE BEEN A F150 MEMBER WAT BACK IN 1999 WHEN I HAD A F150 S/C S/B SPORT TRUCK.

HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE F150 SITE FOR ALL THE GOOD STUFF THAT IS TALKED ABOUT.

WITH THE 2002 BEEN SUPERCHARGED WHAT WILL THE LIGHTING GUYS BE LIKE WHEN YOU SAY ITS A "hd".

WELL A HAVE HAD MY SHARE OF GM TRUCKS, BUT IT SEEMS GM"S MIND IS SOME WHERE ELSE. BUT I DO OWN A 96 IMPALA SS WHICH HAS A AFTERMARKET SUPERCHARGER PLUS MANY OTHER GOODIES ON IT.

SO TO HAVE A SUPERCHARGED TRUCK BIGGER THAT A LIGHTING AND HAVE FACTORY 20" WHEELS. MR. FORD JUST CAME UP WITH THE ANSWER.

I TOO HAVE SEEN ENOUGH POSTS ON THAT DODGE RT TRUCK BUT WE HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. ALL DODGE PRODUCTS LOOSE VALUE TOO FAST FOR ME AND DODGE TRUCK SALES ARE WAY OFF.

WELL THAT ENOUGH YOU KNOW WHAT FROM ME.

 

Hey Dave................Once you get the VIN # from dealer drop me an email and I will fix you right up here in Kansas City with your new HD. I can have your truck ran as a Show Unit and have it pampered and treated as an employee unit from start to finish!

Whats the deal with the 'show unit' prep?

Had a '02 HD on order since 11/01 and was told production starts 02/04/02. Also that 10,000 units would be available for production. Can you shed any light on this??

Also do the '02's come with the Bilstien shocks that are on the '02 Lightning? And one final question, how do they take the 40HP out of the Lightning engine---computer program, intake mod, pulley size or what?

Hey there FrankO................ what the Show Unit is considered is an employee unit that is given that little extra shot of paint and clearcoat, like the firewall and underside of the hood, most of the time. I would need the VIN as soon as possible in order to locate this unit and track the build date as early as possible in order to get this little extra helping hand lined out. I have helped a few online here and will do anything I can do to make a complete stranger even more satisfied with his/her new purchase!

Dave: just curious if you can share your "Canadian price". Hoping the new paint model will be at the Toronto auto show mid Fed so I can make a decision. I find my '00 quiet enough and handles well enough that 120--140kmh too easy to achieve. Supercharged? More gas consumption; more speed...hmmmm

Showya--Would you do it for another stranger? My truck is scheduled for 2/4 also... ordered it the 1st day the order bank opened, had a deposit at the dealer for 6 months just based on rumor. Not like I'm excited about this new truck or anything...

 

As soon as you get a VIN #, throw me an email @ Ashlockboo@aol.com and the sooner I get it the better I will be able to upgrade you truck to a show unit. I cannot promise anything though until I have a VIN # to go off of though since I run Lincoln Blackwoods and will soon be involed with the HD trucks!
