serial# and production #

Can anybody help me with finding out what production number my truck is.
I am a new owner as of Thursday,......2000 HD F-150 with 2,700 miles on it.
Is there a way to tell if it is, like # 625 of 4000 or ???

I have the original window sticker, but didn't see anything on it.
Looks like you have some great info at this web site....
Thanks

ToolDude, welcome to the site, you'll love the truck, but unless you have the special emblem that ford mailed to the owners, there's no way to know what #harley you have out of the 7500 made. BTW, did you get the tonneau cover?

Thanks Harley#356,
Thanks for the info....I'll see if I can get that info from the original owner.
The truck has an "Aero Sport" fiberglass tonneau cover on it. There is a slight rise or what the mfg. calls a aerodynamic wing.
It's "cool" looking and keeps the rain out of the bed.
The original owner had also put a burl wood dash kit in. I have done a #30 tint to the front windows which has made them look the same as the rear sides and it's still easy to see out from inside.
I have some chrome "clear" tail lights coming this week and want to find out more about the "flipchip".
From reading all of the messages, looks like there is a lot that can be done to enhance the truck.
Thanks for the reply!!

Cool Welcome

Hey, ToolDude -- a big welcome to the site. I'm sure you are really going to love your HD truck!

Am curious what the date of manufacture you see on the window sticker? (On the bottom mixed in with other numbers.) You can get a pretty close approximation of what the production date is using that and then from others here online who might have bought about the same time.

Guess you didn't get the original plaque from the first owner? The first owner also got a F-150 HD jacket and a kinda neat keychain.

What type of chrome tails are you getting? The Lightning tails like on my sig or another brand?

Hi HarleyGuy,
The clear tail lights that I have ordered are by APC American Products Company at about $175.00 for the pair. They look close to your pic....

No key ring, no jacket, no plaque..........But, I have the truck!!

Mfg date on the door tag shows 5/00

From the window sticker:
VIN # 2FTRX07L9YCA89560
Final Assy: Ontario
One # RH16
Ship through item # 74-0001
the last number is in the lower center right:
A920 A 7BX AR 032 001769

Thanks,
ToolDude

ToolDude, can you post some pics of the burl wood dash kit. I can't imagine in my head what that would look like or if i would like it or not so post some pics if you can, sounds interesting. If i did a dash kit though, i'd probably go with carbon fiber. But my 85 f150 has fake burl wood dash inserts

Burl Wood dash kit

Harley#356,
I will get some pics.....
This burl wood dash kit was in when I received the truck. It goes around the inst pnl, radio area and both window controls on the doors.
I have got a lot of complements on it.......however, I am more in tune to carbon fiber as well.
