Post Sub in Rear Console

Hey guys,
I am looking for any help to intall a 10" or 12" sub in the rear console. What modifications need to be made? Has anyone does this yet? If so, do you have any pics you could post? Thanks for any help.

If you have instructions on how to build custom box for rear console...I would greatly appreciate it if you could send them to fusion4you@hotmail.com Thanks again.

Hey Ricekicker,
That was a question I was looking for the answer to for a long time. I don't really see how you will be able to do it unless JLAudio comes out with a special stealth box. I, however, removed my rear center console and replaced it with a custom sub box and re-mounted the arm rest back on the box. At first glance, you would have no idea that it is not the console. I am looking for the best way to mount the nickle plate that Ford sent us with our vehicle information on it. I have the JVC '12 that lights up when it hits. The sub points up at the driver and passenger at a 30 degree angle. If you are interested in seeing what it looks like then reply and I will try to figure out how to post a picture on here.

All right guys, I think I set up a photo gallery so you can check it out. If it works then I will go out at night and take a picture with the system on so you can see the blue neon built into the sub. I might go with Harley leather for the box later but they did a great job matching the carpet to the rest of the truck so I actually like it better as is right now. The arm rest goes up and down but there is no storage space with the new configuration. let me know what yall think........
My gallery is the same as my username?????

I did this to my King Ranch which has the same rear console in it. I basically replaced the entire skeleton of the console with my own custom built box and put a Momo 12 in it. Took me about 2 weeks to build entirely.

I have a JL 8W6 in my rear console. It kicks ***... I don't listen to rap or even pop music but for my own (metal, chicago blues and some classical) it really fills the cab with a full sound! My head unit (8V preout to sub) and amp (100w sub channel) put together about 150w (sub is wired down to 3ohm).

Check out some pictures of the truck and sub enclosure. I don't have any detailed pics of the enclosure itself. BTW- the sub fires down at the floor.
