Removed Pinstripe

Well..I had been contemplating doing this since I first bought the truck.

While I appreciate the "symbol" of what the stripe was supposed to reflect, I couldnt help but notice how it stood out like a sore thumb on a beautiful black/chrome background.

Removing it was the BEST appearance mod I could have done, the truck looks absolutely stunning with it off. All that shimmering black and chrome.

I should have done that long ago.

Hey Jax! do you have any pics yet? I have also had thoughts of removing the strip I was just to afraid of what it would look like afterwards.

I met another harley owner down the shore that took his pinstripes off. Looked good, but i think it took a little away from the truck. But at least you can always put new striping back on. Still like it better w/ the stripes though, but it just depends on what you like

It looks alright, i think it makes the emblem look a little too far down w/o the stripe. but it still looks good. i can post some pics of another guys harley w/o stripes too if ya guys want

Sorry about the qualityand size, but i'm in a hurry. These don't support my point very well of how the side emblems look down too low with out the stipe, cuz the pics aren't at the right angle, but it still looks nice. but better w/ the pinstripes. I LOVE the way his tonneau fits. He owns a body shop so he had them shave down the edges of the tonneau so it lines up perfectly with the bottom of the bed rail caps. Fits like a glove. if i had the money i'd get it done too.
