got a question .... how can you tell the difference between the real harley wheel and the knock off version .... excluding the center cap ?

fastv6, if its on a Harley Edition F-150, its real, if its not then its a fake because you need a vin # to get a new rim, or any new harley part for that matter.

are they like the 93 cobra wheels , you had to provide a svt card to prove ownership and i think they numbers inside the wheel matching number on the car . if you messed up a real harley wheel , could you replace it with a knock version and would you be able to use the factory cap ?

i guess you could replace it with a knock off wheel, but i don't think they would be as nice, and it certainely wouldn't be original. and you have to give them your vin# to get a rim or else you can't get one. any they go for $1050 each! from ford.

you have to have a vin to get them from legit ford people but other people get thier hands on them and you can get the real ones. but there are no numbers or any way to tell except quality.

And I can read the VIN off of one in the parking lot in front of my office to buy what I want. Some dealers do not even ask. Most dealers make more money on parts than on vehicles.
