Headers went on today with ease (gibson), very good sound out the the pipes at all rpm's.I'm going to leave the rest of pipes stock. To date( powerdyne supercharger-mass air sensor-gibson headers-also waiting on chip in the mail from superchips (reburnt)-lowered back 2"s-eyes style headlight covers-bright head light bulbs-lightning taillights-soft harley bed cover.Then to the dyno with chip and with out, superchips want's to know power gain and air to fuel reading.So they can fine tune the chip.Maybe even the strip to place some times."For all to know" Charlie at superchips told me the 2001 Harley has the same tranny as the Lightning.Any one know any diff?

 

Yeah, they have the 100 series tranny (4r100w?)

 

The HD's do, don't know what the L's have.

How do you like the 2" rear drop on your Harley ?? Did your ride/handling change ?? My 2000 HD is going under the wrench Monday to also do a 2'' rear drop. I'm also getting the Magnacharger installed. Hope to get my superchips flip chip by weeks end.

does anybody know how many bolts the 100 tranny has or how many the 70 has

 

I'm very disapointed in my dyno run-275 rear hp at 4000 rmp's and 338 torque with chip.With out chip I ran 269 rear hp but had higher rpm's with the chip.I called Charlie at superchips and gave him the air fuel ratio-to lean at higher rpm's, I'll send it back to fine tune.He said he could get me 290 rhp,I told him I wanted 300rhp,said he would try.Also True Blue Performance(where I dynoed) said the ATI sensor was it the wrong place,it is after the supercharger which could be causeing it to sense heat from the charger and leaning the mixture.They said we would run it again with the chip and sensor in same place then change the sensor to be in front of charger,then see if it helps.A chick that works there is getting 345rhp with chip on a lightning,no matter what we do we can't hang with those I'll post when I get done.

 

Maybe I was thinking that it was low,could be good hp's.Anyone else have any dyno's?Let me know.
