RWD or AWD?

Hey Guys how do i know if my truck is 2WD or AWD, and how accurate is the onboard mileage calculator? The best I can do is 12.5 with city and freeway driving, and all of that with a light foot. Just bought my neighbors 2006 HD F150. Just sold my 2005 Supercrew 2wd and it was getting 15 mpg regularly in the same driving conditions. Im thinking this truck may be AWD

The Harley motors are gas HOGS! I can usually never do better than 11.5mpg. As for your 2WD or AWD question, you should have either a (disable) button on the dash or a switch/**** inside vehicle on dash or on/by shifter that allows you to switch between the 2. Or just stand back and look at the profile of your truck - does it sit higher up? If so, then AWD. Try researching your VIN number on internet.

The **** is usually above the trailer brake controls on dash just right of steering wheel. If you don't have one, then you got 2WD only. If you have one, it may look like this or this.
