Question Tonneau cover problems?

I was just wondering what problems, if any, you other harley owners were having with your covers. So far, I've had it get stuck shut due to a release cable comming undone, and 2 days ago, on my birthday, the front seal fell off . I'm not sure how it goes back on with the glue strip and all, so i'm probably gonna take it back to the dealer. Just curious if there were any other problems with this beautiful cover.

My left side latch wont come undone unless I give it a nice swift whack.

Other than that its fine.

cover is sticky on the left the odd time when opening--close...hold down on left..turn key and it usually opens. front flap was also loose on left side about 30% along...seems to be re-stuck now. monitoring....looks awfully nice though

Mine works smooth as silk. In fact, it closes so smoothly that I always have to check and make sure it caught. I love this cover!

Picked up my HD Ford today after having air suspension installed, and started to lift cover to put the old parts in back. The lock actually fell out. Finally got the right side open and after much persuasion got it open all the way. Taking it back to the installer tomorrow!!!

Hmm lets see.....

Had it less than 24 hrs when it locked shut to due the release cables pulling out.

The front seal has come off

The little nylon strap handle fell off

Had a Bell TEch 4/6 drop installed, and as I have stated in previous threads, love the look, but hate the ride. Now I can drop to bottom or raise to a comfortable ride. So far I like the results.

Cindy: don't know why yours took so long--got mine end of May; the guys at the dealership took care on the installation since it was unique but since it came preset on the rails, not much they had to do to install. Suspect like most moving parts, over time and use minor adjustments are to be expected. Other than sticking the odd time which is not a serious issue, you'll luv it. It does complete the concept.

Cool!
I have to get a leer installer to do it since they do all of the covers for the dealership. Since my dealer is a little slow I made the arrangements myself and am now getting him out of bed to get the cover over to the installer. He shoots more crap than carters has pills. He said he left a message on their machine and they don't even have one! LOL
Anyway, here goes.
