my sister has a 03 or 04 hd truck. needs a tune up, nobody in town will do it. why, i really on the answer to that. after reading threads on here might be because of spark plug blow out?? far as i now it is stock no mods to it.anybody tell me what is the big deal???

 

If nobody in town will do it, take it to a Ford dealer.

 

By hd I assume you mean a Harley truck. If so and it is supercharged, that may scare them.

 

If it's an 03, it's supercharged. If it's an 04, it has a 5.4 3 valve, which was the first year and the plugs will probably break when trying to remove them. Either way, take it to Ford.

 

the "book" to change plugs on a 03 HD from the Ford $tealership is four hours.

 

Which is twice the book on a NA 5.4 2V.
