Harley Tonneau Cover!

After 3 months of sitting in it's box my cover is going on next week! They will have to use a generic lock cylinder but by now I don't really care as long as they get it on! Do these covers really weigh 400 pounds?

I doubt it!

If a tonno weighed 400 lbs, the rear end of your truck would be LOW. At most, it probably weighs 80-90 lbs ???

I have a fiberglass one from *******'s. Its not too heavy and its got a cool opening gadget so that the cover can be closer to the lining of the bed without hitting it when opening. Its very nice looking!

Weighed my truck today with Leer Cover and full tank of gas on commercial scale. Total weight was 5040 lbs. The registration has the weight as 4800#, so with a full tank of gas (approx 200#), the cover couldn't weigh anywhere close to 400#.

No freakin way

Me and another individual lifted the cover off the trailer ourselves.

It was not even close to 400lbs. Perhaps 100lbs soaking wet.

Yeah, no where near 400lbs. I had mine installed about a month ago, and the the two guys at leer picked it up and set it on no problem. They said it was pretty light actually. Anyway, i was speechless when they set it on to show me how it looked. after staring at it for a lilwhile, first words out of my mouth were SAWEET! you'll love it

it really does make the HD look special and finishes the final concept. Before, from the back my HD looked like a normal F150 (not bad sometimes if you like to keep a low profile)now, it looks complete.
