Last week I had a Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler installed and yesterday I installed the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK). It sounds much better now and it response better when I step on it. The next thing will be a chip.
Does anyone have a Diablo Chip in there 2000 Harley Truck? If so how do you like it.

I have a 2001 HD supercrew with a supercharger, Airforce 1 intake kit and a flowmaster 50 seris and 3" exhust. as for a chip, all the research I have done says stay away from the D chip and go with a superchip. I put a superchip in mine and it works great. Do your home work and talk to Mike Troyer of Performance products. Mike is a superchip distributor and knows his stuff.

hey mschon, i'm thinking about getting the Rear Molded Splash Guards with Harley Davidson Logos, but i'm not sure how they would look, do you have any pics of em? And what kind of pedal covers do you have? How much and how do they attach. any drilling? and one more question, how much for the sill plates
and whats the difference between the Flowmaster 50 and 40 series?

Hey Harley#356
Here are some pictures of the Splash Guards. I think they look better then the
original but be aware that the old ones ripped on me when I took them off.
Also the new ones did align perfectly with the original holes so I drilled a small new
one and put a screw in to hold it in place.
The pedals are from a Company called Alpena. I bought them at Canadian Tire, which you
don’t have in the States, I assume. The break pedal installs easily with no drilling.
Put due to the gas pedal design on the F150 I drilled a small hole into it to hold the
new one in place. It’s very secure. The cost for these pedals was $39 CDN ($25 US). Not
very expensive. On F150World there is a How to article explaining how to install billet
pedals and they also say to drill a hole into the gas pedal and the break pedal for the
install. The sill plates where $109 US. I got them from the online store at www.f150world.com

The web site has a How to Article on installing these as well.
The difference between the 40 and 50 Series Mufflers is the noise they but out, plus
other technical things I am sure. Check there web page for a comparison.

Hope this helped
