What Number Harley Do you have

Hey everyone, I've owned my harley for over a year now and i've been reading in this forum all the time but never got to registering, but I finally did tonight. I was just wondering what number some of your harleys are, and where you put your emblem. Mine was built on May 18th, 2000 and it is vehicle number 0356!

Harley Supercrew #613, purchased Pleasantville, NY 2/17/2001. Ordered end of Nov, 2000.

5,900 miles. Terrible Gas Mileage but a nasty large ****-eating grin plastered on my face every time I drive her.

Casualties:
Bad seatbelts, broken exhaust bracket, TU passenger seat warmer and a mysterious lack of paint on the front lower bumper cowling (hey Chaean - how did we do this again?)

Cheers-

Jeff

2000 Supercab # 37XX ~dont feel like goin out to the truck to look ~

Local paper today had a great writeup on the F150 HD Screw model.

Apparently they made 8k of the 2000..and only 10k of the 2001 model.

Read up on it here

Actually....

Actually, I don't know how reliable these numbers are, but I have a pretty credible source. The Plant Manager from the Oakville Assembly plant (only plant the 2000's were assembled) said there were 7,500 made. Believe it if you wish,

Mike

BlownHarleyFord, Thats what I heard the numbers were, 7500. but i dunno, hopefully it is. And you said they were assembled at the Oakville Assembly plant ? stupid question but is that in canada, because the sticker on my truck says it was made in ontario canada.

Hi there!
Oakville is in Ontario just west of Toronto. The plant manager confirmed what I had been told about 7500 and she said they had fun making these trucks.

The 2001 HD's were built in KC. I have pics of them there on the lot behind the detailing center. As for the number, you will only know that when they send you the plaque. Mine was like 4042 and built on 4/2/01 I think. No correlation to SN or anything.

info

Exactly who do you have to screw at Ford to get this info? I sent that special "Ford Harley F-150" registration card in 7 months ago, and haven't gotten this stuff (but I did get the jacket).

Is there some place I can call to find out what happened to it?

Thanks.

- Mike
