Worth It?

Hi

Im new to this forum but im not new to trucks. I've loved this truck the first time i've ever seen it. Me and my dad are looking hard for a cheap, low mileage Harley as we speak but I have one questions.

How much do you guys pay for insurance for the truck? Will it be a lot, average, or low?

Also, the gas mileage on the truck as I hear is horrible. Is it really worth it to get all those mods jsut to get better mileage? SHould I just go with a sports car like everyone else?

Thanks

I would say go for it. Its a sick truck and you'll definetly be getting more looks that if you get a Mustang or Camaro/Trans Am unless you get a Viper . Also you pay a lot less for insurance =D The amount you pay for gas probably wont come close to how much you have to pay for insurance on those cars since your 17. In my area, some people pay over 5000 a year just to insure their sports car. I probably spend 2500 a year or something around that ?????

Anyways, you can always put mods on your truck to make it go faster yet improve mileage. My truck averages around 21 MPG cuz I usually drive at steady speeds around 55-60. Also, I never race it or do burnouts or things that can hurt your engine!

What do you mean you pay less for your truck now? Are you talking about insurance wise or gas wise? Or both?

hey,

your insurance shouldnt be much more than a regular f-150. a camaro would be alot more. also you will get around 14 MPG around town. thats driving pretty hard not like a granny. i would go with it. you should be able to get one for around 25,000. make shure you get the leather box with the keychain and plaque. also try to get one with the tonnea cover on it. or get the letter that entitles you to one. i saw some HDs on ebay.com. one of them had the cover. i would check that out.
