So it's not the real thing, but it's pretty darn nice anyways.

Talking GOT ONE!!!

Even though I don't own the Harley version of the real thing, I had to buy one of these. I also noticed that it had the 4.6 engine in it. My wife just rolled her eyes when I complained about it Just have to find a nice stand to put it on. The one it came on (out of the box) doesn't allow the wheels to touch and it looks like it's on a hoist. NOT A GOOD THING!

The night I got it, my daughter started playing with it and pulled one of the doors off. About had a fit! Hope it's not a sign of Door cracks in the real thing!!!!

I got a "Ford Collection" catalog in the mail today that had that truck and also a 2000 model. They were only $36. I noticed it didn't have a tonneau cover though. Guess they are still waiting to hear from Leer.

They also had a lot of nice shirts and jackets with the Harley truck logo. The web address is www.fordcollection.com

Some of the prices are higher online than in the catalog, so you may want to check your mail before ordering!

Unhappy Thanks Alot!

Thanks for the sympathy, CYL!! Luckily it popped back on without too much hassle.

Jeff, I also noticed that the interior was grey, not black. Probably just to be able to see the detail a little clearer, don't know. Doesn't look as good as black, though. Are there any other differences?

No other differences...

other than the following:

1) can't tell if the wiper motor is TU.
2) the seatbelts don't need to be recalled
3) the exhaust bracket is plastic... won't rattle around like mine.
4) gas mileage is better
5) easier to clean
6) birds don't have the same affinity towards it's black paintjob (see #5)

hehe
