Got tire of the peeling chrome on the inside handles. It was only the front 2 but decided to go different.

This is what they were doing.


So I went to the local pick and pull and got 4 black handles for $30.



Sanded and primed.





I had a can of Duplicolor DSG for touch up on the truck.





Cleared


Installed.





I had one handle I had to reclear. As I was putting on the last coat the can decided to "hicup" and I had a huge run in the clear. So I had to scuff it again and reclear. Its on the back door and is alittle rough. But its outa site outa mind.

That looks really sharp. Another thing for my to do list.

 

Looks awesome! Mine haven't peeled yet but getting there, now I have a great idea for how to fix when the time comes. :-)
