trailer weight

why is the capacity listed as 7500 pounds. 6.2 with a 3.73 ?

is it the tires are rims that lower the rating?

according to this a 5.0 with a 3.55 can pull more.

i am getting it reguardless, my avalanche pulls my trailer just fine but it is rated at about the same capacity and i know the 6.2 is much more capable.

i have no idea why the 5.0 is rated higher... honestly id figure the truck with a bigger motor and geared lower would do better...

it's due to the factory large rims and low profile tires

My guess would be the 22" wheels and the P275/45/22 V rated tires... Sure, you can go FAST with them, but they must not have much LOAD capacity..
