Yup, he is for real, they are about 400.00 for the pair from him. He goes to Detriot and picks them up there.

really? thats cool. i dont know how i like them though. they are cool but i need too see them on a truck. he told me that he will have more in on thurs. i think i could talk him down a bit from 400 cause i was going to buy the L ones for 300 but i might ask him how much more for these. hopefully he would come down. if anyone knows where i can find a pic of these on any black truck please let me know. thanks alot.

hey guys. i think im going to call him today to try to get a deal on the lights. if the price is right i might get them but..... i still really want to see a pic on a truck! i cant picture them. i need all of your opinions. i think it would look good but i think i still might like the L lights better. and i could get those cheaper. i was also wondering, you know how the L lights used to be cheap? well i was wonding if the harley lights would be cheap now? or do you think they started with high prices like the L lights? i e-mailed fordpartsonline.com but i dont have a part # so they probably cant help me.

-please reply i dont know what to do!!

It's up to you to make the dicision on the lights. In the end they look pretty much the same as the L lights except for the orange strip. So I don't think it will look bad. Maybe the orange may look better. The only thing that is making me juggle the decision is for the overall value. Would it be better to have actual HArley lights instead of L. To some that may make a difference.

I say go for it. Someones goin to try them sooner or later. You might as well be the first. If they were going to look bad on black I don't think Ford would have used them for the 2002. So I say try them out.

I decided to go for it because He e-mailed me today to say he would send me the next set for $300 plus $15 shipping. i think the lights will look good. i will post pics as soon as i get the light in. thanks for all your input. by the way if you ever need any lights or want some clear tails or corners e-mail Mr.Taillight because he has alot more than is on the website and he has the best prices you can get.

well,

Mr. taillight e mailed me today and told me that $300 is just for the headlights and that corners are $100 more. and i was already wondring if i should spend $300 on the lights but $400 i dont think so. i cant see any way that this guy is paying ford more for these HD lights than he is for L lights. The L lights used to be cheaper. and i bet he is getting the HD lights for Less than the L ones and is trying to rip me off. he might not be but i am not going to spend 400 for those lights.

I agree that $400 is alot of money for those lights and corners. I would hold out for awhile and wait to see if he sends you anouther offer. If not, I guess it's time for anouther place to go shopping. I don't think he's trying to rip you off though. Just cause those are newer than the L lights and so far unheard of. He most likly just charging what he thinks is fair. I would probobly charge the same with the large demand going around for the L's he probobly exspects the same demand for the HD lights. I would ask around. Did you talk to Ford about the price of the new HD lights?

yea i guess. i havent talked to ford i am going to though. I told him im not going to get the lights. i might still go with the L lights. unless he decides to come down on the HD lights i think im going to hold off for now. i am going to e-mail fordpartsonline.com to see if they have them or have heard of them.

Oh well at least you tryed for $300. Maybe he will accept. If not he lost a few customers over trying to make a few extra dollars. Oh well. Keep us updated on what you decided to do.

well........... he finally responded to my e-mail and said.

" i will cancel the order for the 2002 HD lights. done.

i have sent you out today the 2001 Lightning lights as you had won and paid for on auction.

please let me know when you receive them. if you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,

i had origonally got the 01L lights on ebay using the "buy now" and then he told me about the Harley lights. i guess he didnt understand that i didnt want the 01 L any more. so.... i guess i got the Ls now. there isnt much i can say because i sent him the cash when he said 300 for the HDs and i did buy the Ls on auction. so i guess he was only gooing to let me off on the Ls if i got the HDs. i like the Ls alot anyway so im happy. but i am a little less fond of the MR.taillight. so ill post the picks of the 01 Ls next week when they come.
