Exclamation Do i need to remove the stock shim with hangers/shackles?

I have searched and cannot find an answer.
It is an 02 harley edition, and i am installing Western Chassis 2" hanger and 2" shackle kit. I have the recommended 6* shim, installed fat side toward the back. My question is what to do with the stock shim, remove it or leave it in stock location ( fat side to front)

Any help is appeciated!

Brian

6 Degree shim means you must be lifting it. If that is the case then use just the 6 degree shim. If you are lowering it, 6 degrees is a bit much and it should be more around 2.5 to 4 degrees.
