Front Licence Plate - 2011 HD F150

Greetings All,

I live in Minnesota, which has the ridiculous requirement of a front license plate. I bought a 2011 HD F150 on Friday, and I noticed that it does not come with a front license plate bracket.

Suggestions? Does Ford even make one, or is that a good one in the aftermarket?

Thanks!

Tim

Don't drill holes in your bumber.

Fab up a mount that mounts underneath your front bumber to something that is easy to bolt on to and then run the bars for the mount out from the bumber and either bent it up or down to mount the plate onto.

I have seen many guys in Cali do this for thier HD's so they don't have to drill into their bumpers.

Just takes a little thought and it can be done easily.

I have a 2010 HD. The dealer gave me one that fits on the truck. I had to use electrical ties to put it on. You really don't notice the ties anyway. It has been on the truck a year already with no problems, snow and all.

I have a 2011 also and I believe they make a stock front license plate bracket for the truck. I also don't think there's anything wrong with drilling into front bumper at all, IF you even have to.
