Dumb Question from newbie

I'm considering getting a 02 or 03 F150HD.

My question is has anyone installed the frontwheel or AWD system from a Lightning an a HD F150?

I like the supercharged v8 & lower ride height of the Lightning and HD but need a crew cab and want 4x4 or awd so the Lightning is out.

Lightnings aren't four wheel drive and neither are the '02-'03 Harley trucks...

you might want to get a 4x4 crew cab, lower it and add a supercharger

thanks

I have always thought the Lightnings were awd or 4wd makes sense that they are not though.

In that case the crew cab 4x4 lowered and blown looks like the way for me to go.

Don't waist your money getting a 4x4 and SCing it. Go buy a good used 4x4 for what you need the 4x4 for and pick up a L to have fun in. Unless of course you have enough money to pick up a HD as well as a 4x4...then go for it.

I would personally stay away from any Harley Truck after 2003 unless its a 250 your looking at.

The 150's after 2003 are nice to look at, but heavy and don't have the capability of being the fun street/track truck like I have the 2002 & 2003's have.

Just my 2 cents
