Are the Harleys Doomed?
Ford has a 5 year contract with Harley-Davidson to make vehicles with the HD theme. Whether they stick with the F-150 for these vehicles is anyone's guess!

What surprised me regardless of the price of gas was spending a week in Texas at the begining of the month--cruising at 70 to 80 and getting passed (I'm driving my SVT Contour not the HD!) by every pickup on the road including F350 deulies and I'm thinking at probably 10 to 12 miles/gal what energy/price problem? I can afford the gas my HD uses back home in Canada, ethics aside, and I guess the pinch hasn't hit anyone too hard in the US either--on my trip from Toronto to Austin via South Padre to New Orleans, I was constantly being passed by less fuel efficient vehicles than what I was driving. If you can afford to buy it though, you gotta be able to keep it on the road--so far I and I guess a lot of others don't seem to have a problem. Did see a 00 HD on a lot next to I35 south of Waco tho.

Seems like gas prices are not gonna stop moving on up! Do you guys think that this will spell the end for the HDs or any of the F150s? </font>
