Post Please help with engine code.

For those with a super chip, can anyone tell me what the engine code is, or how to find it. It's time to add to the K&N FIPK. Thanks, Gene from AZ.

Thumbs up

small paper sticker- approx. 1/2"x1" near bottom hinge side of pass. door. Also should be on computer, just look up under dash pass. side.

Get the Air Force 1 - a lot nicer kit than the K&N , chromed steel instead of plastic. I've seen them both - no comparision

You by any chance know the safe way to clean the Air Force One filter?

Is it the same material as the K&N...I really dont think it is. I dont want to ruin it by hosing it off..but its gotten rather dirty and my "paintbrush and air compressor" method only removes so much

Thanks jammer, but I've had the k&n installed already for a few weeks. Hell, I got it for only $125 shipped, and overall consensus was that either kit was good. I'm happy. Now, back to the engine code. I'm seperated from my truck for another week or so and can't check the code. Is it not possible that since all Harleys are 5.4 the codes would all be the same? If so, can someone tell me please. Thanks!

Cool

My guess is that most of the HD trucks truly are the same code, but I wouldn't dare program one based on that! Mike T. mentioned that there are a LOT of different codes based on a many factors.

To be safe, you're gonna have to wait and make sure of your specific code.
