Im pretty sure the stock head unit has a minor preamp built in. Its nothing significant however.

3 10"s???

heh..they are going to sound horrible...there is hardly enough space under the rear seat to house 2 10"s.

Its not the amount of speakers you have..its the amount of air they can move.

1 10" with maximum airspace will sound better than 3 10"s with zero.

Ya they are pretty good stereo's, but i'm replacin mine. I just ordered a DVD and Mini Screen. There also gonna cram 3 10"s under the back bench. Should sound and look pretty cool.

YA I agree you could have just as loud and clear system with one quality 10" inch with a proper power supply, but I'm using a sub designed by a local company, that my installer (my brother) would like to exsperiment with in my truck. We are raising the back bench about just under 2" to make room for the needed seat. I'm not even planning on keeping them in there. I have 2 10" kicker soloberics to be put in. Were just exsperimenting with these to see how they sound. They are designed for small spaces, so should be intresting to hear them. What attracts me to these three is the amount of power they need is barly none, so keeps cost down. But i totally agree, may just sound like ****, but may also work out the way we had planned. We done all the calculations for air space and it works out just right with a little extra space to breath. I'll tell you how it sounds when were done. Install starting this weekend.
