Post Beautiful new truck, crappy attention to detail

I can't believe they put those beautiful 20" rims on then hang those damn clamp on wheel wieghts on the chrome. They should have used the stick ons on the inside of the rim. And how about those hubs covered with rust. That looks real good behind the wheel, The tie rod ends are also totally rusted. No protective coating at all. I hit mine with some heat resistant brush on paint yesterday. Sure looks better. Just something I can't believe they'd do. If that 's the only problem I have I guess I'll be happy.

My wheel weights came on the BACK side. Get them to change it! I wouldn't have a bunch of ugly lead haning on the front of those rims!

Paint shops sell stuff called OSPHO, it's a rust conversion/preventative. Turns the rust black, acts like a primer. I mist the underside of my Toyo 4wd with it then hit it with Rustoleum. Looks almost brand new under there. Did my hubs with OSPHO using a brush, and don't need to paint right now.
Gotta agree with you, the only bad comment I've heard about the truck is the rust on the hubs...........Rube
