Want to install 01' HD Screw door handle, armrest, and door handle panel on my 01' XLT Screw.
Anyone have any pics that show the detail of these items?

Local dealer says that they are the same in both trucks.. WRONG!! The ones that you guys have are very nice. I know having these partsit is not the same as owning one of your great trucks, but I can dream can't I?

I think what Baddgene is saying is that he doesn't want people to make their trucks out to be something they aren't. We paid anywhere from 27-34/35 G's for these trucks. We paid the money to be original, not because we are dumb enough to buy a $35,000 (very impractical) 2WD truck. When people "transform" thier truck into a HD special, it just cheapens the whole thing. It's like lifting a 2WD truck and sticking 4X4 badging on it. It just makes you look like a jack-***. Now there are still some 2001 HD SCrew's on the lots, trade yours in, buy a HD, then you can join the club.

All I wanted to do was put the black door handles and armrest in my $33,000 2001 SuperCrew 4x4. I am not talking about using your 'precious" HD trademark logo anywhere else.

Sure does not follow along with what I have heard about HD owners being "nice people".

P.S. Since I have first posted I have been informed that the part I was looking for was from a 01' Lightning. Got the pics and am going to upholstery shop and dealer tomorrow. Thanks Mr. "Lightning owner'.

 

i dont know where you could get the parts. dont regular f150s have armrests? also i think it would be possible to get your handles painted at a body shop. i dont mind if you use HD parts. i will know mine is the real deal. it doesnt bother me. plus im going to get lighining lights so i cant get mad at people who want HD Stuff. you might try to call fordpartsonline.com (there is a # on the sight)
