Cool Toronto Fun Ride

I talked to a rep from the Ford Truck plant in Oakville at the Toronto Auto Show about a bunch of F150 H/D ownwers doing a fun run some nice spring day. He said that the plant that built these trucks would love to have us come down for a tour ect. Any takers?

I would be willing to go along with you guys. I live in Buffalo, Toronto is only about 1 1/2 hours away. I was just past that Oakville plant this past weekend on my way to Lake Simcoe.

Where do you go, Cooks Bay? Guess you don.t bring your truck all the way up here.
Sounds like this tour would be a pretty cool idea.

No way Bud. I bring the 4X4 Tahoe up there. It's nice when you have to dive on the ice, but it's a freaking shoebox on wheels when I'm doin 90+ on the QEW. Especially going over the Burlington Bridge with a nice 40+ mph crosswind!!!. I go through Randy's Fish huts. The guy is as crazy as a sack of doorknobs, but for me, $30 per person per day is worth it for the shack, heat and shuttle service. And he always puts me on good fish. It's before Beaverton, Port ------ something, I can't remember.

I'm in on the meet part; will mention this to the F150 brand manager since I'll be sending him a letter on the certificate issue regarding the Cnd certificate thing--they're looking into it and we can expect a letter with the final answer along the lines of the tonneau cover Hopefully Ford Canada might support the meet as well as the certificate if they're proud of building this version of the HD. I have no build issues so far and the truck is a looker.
