Smile die cast model

I just got my 2000 harley davidson model in and love it. Great detail and moving parts. It even came with a tonneau cover. If the real thing looks like this one did then I'll be happy with my cover. It was only 28.00 dollars including shipping. What a buy. I think I'll put it up next to my plaque and key chain case in the office.

Hi there!
The guy at the dealership gave me a model when I bought my truck. I thought they came with them. LOL.

Question

By the way, does anyone know if the truck is held down in the box with tape or is it a piece of plastic? Just wondering because I really don't want to open it. If it's tape, guess I'll have to.

i guess i'm not so lucky then. The truck is held down by plastic strips. However it also has three screws that mount it to a display plate on the bottom of the truck. The plate is plain and black. Not very attractive. So I took it off.

For any body that is interrested - Revell/Monogram has released a 1/25 Harley (bike) / Harley F150 combo model kit. They are about 18.00 and due in stores "mid march" - so they should be in now.

I already have the die-cast so the plastic will be a nice addition.
