Question tonneau cover

My tonneau cover has snaps on it. In the book it looks different. Is there any difference? Someone told me it would shrink if I take it off at any time. What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Cindy.

If it has snaps is it a soft cover, I assume so. As far as I recall no trucks came with a factory tonneau cover, only dealer installed.

I have one however it is hard cover with struts. There are no holes drilled into my truck. Are there in yours?

I had recived a letter from Ford Customer Appreciation concerning that a tonneau cover was on its way but no delivery date was promised.

If you want to e-mail me at crestwoodrailings@on.aibn.com to exchange info please do so.

Hi! I just got my Harley F-150 early feb. 01.
and I see that you have a tonneau cover for yours. Can you help lead me in the right direction to get one. Nobody seems to know how to get them. They are listed but everyone says they are not being made yet. The soft cover is what I'm interested in. I have a 2000 model.

Thanks Skinman

Hi Skinman!
I got the soft cover at the dealership but now I have learned that Leer is supplying everyone who bought the HD-F150-2000 with a hard cover. I guess they are much more in demand in the States because there were so many more sold down there. I'm waiting for my letter of confirmation then the dealership will have someone come and install it for me. Guess I'll have 2 covers. BONUS! Anyway, the soft cover I have is held on with clamps. There is an aluminum frame around the box that looks easy to remove. If your dealership can't help you I would call Ford customer services. Up here they are very helpful, so good luck.
Cindy.
