Question woodgrain dashboards

Has anyone installed the wood treatment to their trucks and if so what manufacturer did you use and were you satified? I am interested in installing a molded wood dash setup. Any suggestions?

Harleyrules:

I got it from Northern Automotive Systems
(888)781-3750 Part #10012 5 piece kit. I install myself real easy to do, cost about
$265.00 in California walnut burl.I hope this helps you.
PS I love it.

Question

I've put them in several cars.
They use 3M self adhesive stick'em tape
Cautions:
Make sure the temperature is warm. I'd say at least 60-70 degrees.
Once they touch something it is stuck there...forever. Make sure you don't take all the tape's protective paper off at once.
Check it's placement with the tape on several times and then peel off a little corner and stick the corner and unwrap the tape as you place the piece.

Question???
Anyone put on the "brushed aluminum"
I thought it might go better with the H-D theme and the black interior. So far, everyone here disagrees and says I should go with the wood. Input????

Robin, Thanks for all your help.

Motor, I was thinking of the brushed aluminum also, just to be different. Did you get any samples of it yet?

We think alike.
I know I saw one vendor that would send a free sample; but I can't remember which one.

I'll keep checking. Unfortuantely, with my past experience with this stuff I know that it is one decision you can't go back on...unless you want to replace dash components. In other words, ya gotta like it before ya stick it.
