Unhappy 2000 HD F150 still avail?

With the limited production and partnering with Harley, I must admit I am rather disappointed that the 2000 HD F150's are still available. I would have thought they'd have been sold out the first month! Can anyone give me ideas as to why? Here, I thought I was lucky to find one only to see 2 others in my area. I was kind of hoping it'd be so hot that people would want me to sell mine to them. Not that I'm selling it - I'm not but aren't these desirable? Plus, why weren't they advertised at the dealers and stuff? There was NO advertsing on them here in the Cincinnati Area. I heard of these from a tiny bit on a truck tv show and asked the dealer.. I would have thought dealers would have been boasting all over the place. And the Harley stores -- one guy acted like it was a joke -- trying to tie Harley with a truck... I'm depressed -- what responses are you all getting?

I suspect that since these trucks are onley 2WD that they don't sell well in colder climates with the 4WD truck fad.

My local dealer (5 Star Ford in Fort Worth)
has 5 of them on their lot.

When I was getting an oil change a few weeks back I took one on a test drive and the sales manager came out when we were done and gave me the impression that they would come off the MSRP quite a bit, when I asked about how much he said "You tell me a price" and just half jokingly I said $27K.

Next words out of his mouth?
"Will you buy it today"?

I left real fast!

The Dealer here still has a 2000 on the lot and canceled the order for their other one. The sales person I spoke to said that it would sell if it were a 4X4 according to other customers. People could not justify the money for a 2 wheel drive.
How's things in Cincy? I miss living there.
