Just picked up my '00 Harley truck on the 13th of Jan. Man, what a truck! On my third tank of gas. AVG MPG 15.1. What will the superchip due to the mileage under light-footed driving? What gains do you see with the foot down?

I get around 18 mpg with the Superchip and was getting around 17 before installation of the chip and a K&N FIPK. The reason for my high mpg is rural roads, 55 to 60 mph max and no stop and go driving. (Have to admit, I've only gotten that mileage once on the last tank because at first, after the initial chip installation, was busy testing it!)

I saw about a 1mpg drop in mileage after installing the superchip...some have reported a significant increase in MPG. Im still happy with the chip and the shift firmness is nice. You will be required to run 93 octane after putting the chip in, and that runs me about an extra 4 or 5 dollars a tank here in florida...so keep that in mind. As for HP gains, I installed the chip and Air Force One intake at roughly the same time...so I couldnt tell which made a more significant increase in peppyness However its significantly faster than it was stock with those two mods.
