Talking Tonneau Deal In Canada

I just received a letter from Ford Canada on the Tonneau Cover Issue. There will be a free cover in the new from leer. According to the letter I will be receiving a letter and a certificate to have a cover installed by a Ford of Canada dealership.

Has anyone else in Canada received this letter ?

Martin

Got my letter today as well..I will be sending a Xmas card to Ford Canada, F150 brand manager Jack Turner--gotta thank Frederick for keeping this issue going with his direct contact with Leer as well. I'm still on the fence as to whether a hard cover or soft is way to go for access to pickup bed for those big objects. Anyone who has info on design of this thing is welcome to submit.

Gotta thank for Ford Canada for finally admitting this adds cachet to our vehicle and also those of us who kept whinning to Ford about the issue after the US guys seemed to be receiving better treatment.

Merry Xmas!

To caseyk , mschon, and all other Canadian owners................HOORAY! I also received the letter from Ford of Canada, and it is surely a welcome Christmas present. It is quite gratifying that Ford recognizes their errors here and will be doing right to correct the situation. I realize they've had a larger problem with the Firestone issue, and quite frankly, ours pales in comparison.
So, they just had to take some time, and now we can all appreciate Ford for what they're promising to do for us in 2001.
Bravo!
Regards, and Best Wishes to you all in this Christmas and Year 2001!...........Fred
