Installing fender flares
Does anyone know if the stock ford fender flares will screw right onto the HD F150 or does one need to drill holes.

harleyrules,
I'll look at my fender flares this afternoon after work. I believe they have some square male appendages that are used to align it with the fender. I research an earlier ford ranger one time about putting the 4x4 flares on a 2x4 and you had to replace the fenders to do it or drill sqaure holes.
I'll respond this afternoon about what I can see on my fenders and the rear I wouldn't think would be a problem.

Bad news! Both the front fenders and the rear quarter panels appear to have square holes that a plastic anchor fits through. The flares show a screw head, then about a inch of air space, then into the body. The screw is contained through the plastic anchor the whole way. The anchor also provides a stay so that the flare remains the same distance from the body at all times. If this doesn't make since, you may have to look for yourself at the dealer lot.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the info. I am wondering if it is possible to remove those square clips and attach the flare to the fender side with double sided tape. I will have to look into that. Thanks again.
