Post A FH web site

Hey guys,

I just found this site and its great to see that there is people talking about our trucks (FH F-150). I also found a link off this site to another called Fordharley.com. anybody been there? It looks like it is just starting, but it's just for ford and harley owners, most importantly FH F-150's. im going to post my FH pics next week there, i gota scan them or something.

Sorry to hear everybody has had troubles with their paint, mine looks good, minor things nothing you guys are describing.

Ford has never been too good on paint. i had a 98.5 contour svt and i needed to get it painted three times to cover up factory paint burns. I traded that in for a 99 mustang that had nothing better.

I pick up my HD this Friday--checked paint on truck in showroom and didn't see any rippling but the harsh light of daylight may reveal more. I still own a '99 SVT Contour Tropic Green and have no complaints about the paint quality--certainly far better quality than Chrysler's black paint on a '95 Intrepid ES that I felt chipped too easily compared to the paint on my SVT--hardly any dings thru clearcoat. We'll see how the HD looks out of the showroom. Was your build date 7/31/00?

Well Maybe you were lucky with your contour. I had a silver one so i guess the paint makrs were more noticable. They were around the fog lights.

Why are you waiting until friday to pick up your truck? i had mine right from PDI, never touched the showroom floor.

Good luck with your trucks paint,

keep on truckin.
