Cool Deals on HD F150

Hello all. I've been monitoring this board for a few weeks while waiting for my HD F150. It finally arrived and I picked it up last Saturday. LOVE IT! Ride is a little rough but the looks I get are worth it.
I have already had the stupid tape pin stripe removed and replaced with a much better looking painted stripe consisting of a small flame lick just behind the headlights going into two 1/16th inch strips around the tailgate ending in small flame licks and a bar and shield right above the tailgate latch.
If anyone is interested, I bought the truck with 6 CD changer and sliding glass for under $30K. They have two more now and will get four more later and will make the same deal to anyone.

I hear you on the "Taped Stripe"... Thought about doing what you have already done but no guts I guess... Under 30K...Wow, now that makes me "not" want to write any poetry... Not sure how some dealers are getting that number of HD's. My dealer had to buy a ton of Rangers and ?? to even have an opportunity to get a second HD? Sure would like to see you post some pic's also.

Okay, I get the message..., I'll post some pic this weekend. The leather seats are great. Since I live in Texas where it has been 6000 degrees F for the past two months, black on black is not the color combo of choice (although my wifes car is also blk on blk). Thank you Ford for a really good A/C unit.
It's interesting how I got this truck. The dealer had four of them ordered in June. I put my name on one. I had an order number, a VIN number and a build date of 7/31. We could never get any info on delivery though. Finally, the second time I checked with Ford Customer Service, I learned that the build date had been changed to Oct 2. The dealer got on the phone, called another Texas dealer and convinced them to ship three of their units to him. Bottom line I got a different truck but it was equipped the same and had only 6 miles.

Look at the dates of the posts. They are from 3 years ago and they are talking about the 2000 HD which had just come out.

Is the Lightning or the Harley Edition going to be made in 2004?

The 2004 Lightning remains unchanged for this year and the Harley Edition is a F250 or F350 Superduty for 2004

I just got an "internet price" of $33,774.00

Should I hold out??? How do I negotiate that???

The post you are quoting is 3 years old. The price is for a 2000 Harley Davidson, which at the time where brand new.
