Harley Brake Size

Does anyone know if my 2000 F150 Harley would take the same brake pads as other model 150's? I am looking to replace my front brake pads, and the local parts guy isn't sure if the HD's and Lightnings have a different brake setup. Thanx for any info.

The Lightning has the same brakes as the F250 and 7700GVW F150's but the Harley has exactly the same brakes as the regular F150.

Yep, even the supercharged models have the same brakes as a V6

Thanx for the info, Adam. Good to know this, as I'm doing the job Thursday. And that is indeed surprising that the supercharged models would have the same brakes.

what is needed to put the lightning brakes onto a HD? Just the calipers/pads/rotors, or are the spindles or mounting points for the calipers different?

the mounting brackets for the caliper is different. find a set of lightning spindles off of a wrecked truck (that way you have it all).
