Looking at buying a 2003 HD
I've been looking for a few weeks and haven't found the perfect 2003 HD yet.
Just 2 miles from my work is a solid black one with 63,000 miles.
But the car lot wants $19,800 for it.
It's missing the front fog lights and brackets.
I really want a 2 tone and I found 3 online close to me.
2 are at dealers.
One is lowered and they want $23K with 45K miles on it.
The 2nd has silver lightning wheels and they want $21K for it.
The 3rd one I found seems perfect.
64K miles
$15,500 negotiable price
2 tone
The pictures they sent me look good.
I've asked for more information on it before I call my bank.
Any suggestions for me to check/inspect?
I've missed selling my 2000 Lightning years ago and want to replace that feeling with this truck.
Being a dad now, I need the extra 2 doors!
Thanks,
Ryan

check the same stuff as the lightnings,
check the wheel wells for rubber from burnouts
check the pulleys for the correct sized ones on it or if it's pullied make sure you have the tuner for it
also check the crank pulley for signs of removal
make sure the intercooler system is functioning (and has been cleaned recently if not get it cleaned as part of the purchase)
if equipped check the sun roof for leaks around the seals
trust me the 2 tones are very well sought after and will hold thier value no matter what NADA says (however since it's a dealer check the nada value)
