Skid Plates?

I figured that I'd ask you Harley owners this question:
I have an '08 Limited with the AWD transfer case. Would the skid plates that come on the FX-4, or other F150's, fit under the Limited/Harley editions as well?

My Harley has skid plates, that should be the same as your Limited. I would go down to a Ford dealer and look up both sets in the computer with a parts person. That should tell you if they are the same.

Since I plan on using my (actually, the Company's) Limited on construction projects, I had the same thoughts.
I ordered skid plates and necessary hardware for the Limited a few days ago from the local Ford dealer; and did the install today.

Parts list:
qty -part # / description

1- 4L3Z-5D032-AA SKID PLATE N19
1- 4L3Z-7E063-AA PLATE P02
4- N606704-S439 BOLT AN Z00
4- N801118-S436 NUT A Z00
4- W505436 -S439 SCREW & Z00
4- W520813- S439 NUT Z00

Total cost of parts was about $390 here in Canada.
Install was very straight forward.

Good luck,

max

I'm suprised you guys didnt have them factory. My truck did. I was suprised to see them the first time I crawled under my truck. Can't say that they haven't come in handy, they probly saved me some damage last winter. I was travelling through freezing rain and snow with limited visibility and a mini van of some short lost a bumper on the highway(I dont even know how) and I ended up running over it, no damage what so ever I think it hit my skid plate.

Max911, thanks for the part #'s.
I'm hoping that these are the same as the othe F150's. I'd like to see if I could pick-up some used ones at one of the local junk yards.
