03' Harley Repairs
One week before my Extended Warranty ended (75K miles):
Replaced Head Gaskets, Rebuild Rear End, Replace Driveshaft.
Loose Heatshield, Replaced Lower Ball Joints. I did have the plugs
replaced while the engine was pulled ($70). To make a long story short,
the warranty picked up the $5,100 for the repairs. Last month it was a cracked PCV tube that was leaking oil, requiring the removal of the SC and some other prime parts. Considering the Warranty was $1,500 I feel it was worth the money.
It does concern me that these items needed replacement at or before 75K. The truck isn't driven hard, dealer has done all scheduled work, and have never towed anything.
Has anyone else experienced such extensive repairs with this truck?
