New Harley S/C or Saleen S331?
New Harley S/C or Saleen S331?
Guys,
Looking to swap out my S281 Saleen Mustang and get back into a truck.
Big question is which one.
I loved my 2003 Anniversary Harley and now the new ones come S/Charged its great. But also like the Saleen trucks.
Anyone had any experiences with the Saleen S331's? I knwo they are fairly new out but need to know about recalls and reliability as being in the Uk both are quite important as once here I am on my own.....
Cheers

Well, Love the interior of the Harley over the Saleen. Looks a lot more upmarket and less utalitarian. Love the power and handling the Saleen should give.
Seen a couple of Foose Mustangs and not a great fan of the fit and finish. Hopefully these slipped through the QC at the factory so not great hope for the Foose truck.
So looking more towards a 2007/8 F150 Harley with Saleen blower upgrade and Saleen suspension upgrade.
Anyone know what suspension parts are binned and what is fitted? I know with the Mustang, Saleen used different parts through the build year. My Saleen Mustang has factory Magnaflow exhausts for example and I think some used Brembo brakes.

I guess we need to review your bank statements first.
I've saw the Saleen in person and it really stood out (even in SoCal). I'm not one to go up to a random person's vehicle and start checking it out but I couldn't refrain on this truck. The S/C offers similar horsepower @ 44k though??? hhmmm

Well, I have been quoted $48,000 for a fully loaded (is there any options on a HD?) S/c F150 Harley. Now as the exchange rate is great for us in the UK, I can sell my Saleen here for around $60,000 and be able to afford the HD and fit the Air Bar suspension and also a JDM performance upgrade before shipping it over here.
Or just buy the Saleen S331S/C and have not much left.
Then again, I could get a 07 Lariat and get it fully tweaked and lowered and have buckets of cash left.....
Steering more towards a 2007 Harley S/C in Amethyst though
