Is Ford building a SuperCrew Harley F-150?
Is Ford building a SuperCrew Harley F-150?
I mean, WTF's up?
Everyone knows it'll sell like hit cakes, and people are waiting (read, not buying) the extended cab variant, waiting on the SuperCrew.
Ford, WTF's up? What's the hold up?
In the truck capitol of North America (Texas), I have YET to see a new generation F-150 HD on the road, and only 1 at a dealership. What's up?
Release the CREW!

I still say FORD *****'ed up......they are only offering it with a 5-1/2' bed.....at least the KING RANCH will have a 6-1/2' bed......maybe I will upgrade to that..........................................nah. ......I soooooooo see a 2008 F250 in my future...........
yea true but , some people dont like the look of the longer bed and some due i agree its not hard to paint a longer bed or just put it on the longer frame. but oh well its either i get one of these or........... i wait until 08 and seee what happens
I like the longer bed; but have been happy with the shorter bed- so it's no biggie for me either way.
Ford Effed up on that... Sure people bought the ORIGINAL Harley Davidson because that was the only body available, and there was no such thing as a SuperCrew. But, once the SuperCrew variant hit- even if there had been a SuperCab available, it wouldn't have sold nearly as well.
In fact, I'd say 6 out of every 10 F-150's I see, are the SuperCrew, with 3/10's being the SuperCab, and 1/10th being the regular cab.
Since GM finally went with a Crew cab in the 1500 range, those are all over the place too.

I have been wanting to ask this question for a while. I saw one at the Ford place here. My question is the 4wd on these all time?

I think there AWD so yes.
I've seen a good handful of new f150 HD's on the road here in Northern Ohio, they sell pretty good here as far as I know seeing them on the road
Rolled by North Central Ford in Richardson, TX yisdiddy and saw one. I didn't get out to see it up close because the salesmen were hovering like buzzards.
It's sitting much higher than I expected...
I didn't like that.

I'm hoping it's available in 4 x 2. Not that I'm gonna buy one (I saw the new Expedition EL
), but they would be nice to look at. Besides, I get X-Plan on Fords, so I'm sure- when they time comes, they'll bite on the deal I have in mind...
I'll swing by one of the local dealers when I start seeing, "Get $5,000 back and 0.9% financing on 2007 Expeditions". That, with my X-Plan, makes for one Helluva one-two punch, and a great deal. I saw a white Expedition EL, Eddie Bauer with Navigation, floor shifter & moonroof.
$46,000.00. (Only 3K more than my 2003 Expedition EB, with no navi or moonroof was). *Paid $34,000 for it, after giving up one $5,000 rebate (Had them down to $29,000) in favor of the 0% APR, and a lower payment.
Then again, that new Tahoe is freaking-sweet too. I like everything on it, except the rear hatch.

As successful as the previous generation HD SuperCrew & SuperCrew (SC) were, there was no reason to trickle the new HD out in the 3rd full model year, and the SuperCrew in the 4th, I guess next year they might slap on the supercharger.
Those bad boys (and the King Ranch) should have rolled off the truck onto dealer lots the same day the Lariat's and FX4's did.Although it is important, people concerned about gas mileage don't buy full-sized trucks; so- I say, give the people what they want.
It's not a freaking BMW: Ford people aren't gonna patiently
wait year after year for stuff to come out like Bimmer folks do. Not for trucks anyway. They're gonna move to the other brands...
Toyota has laid down the Horsepower gauntlet with this new Tundra, offering 380 HP (stock) in their 5.7L engine. Haven't seen numbers on the 4.7L (Or if it's gonna be offered- they may do like Nissan did, and offer only one engine). That's supercharged Lightning power, in an everyday family and hay hauling pickup... Or, they'll move to Dodge, who offered (Or may still offer) the 425 - 500 HP Ram SRT-10 in crew cab. I thought Dodge was a little stupid to price that truck at 50K, but- they were selling like hot cakes for a minute. In fact, I've seen more SRT-10 Ram Crewcabs than I did the regular cab.

Yea I Agree , I Thought There Was A Rumor Of Some 6.7 Liter Ford Motor That Might Make It To The 08 Models , Or The Diesel Now That Would Be Some Fun , But Your Right , And Thats Going To Make People Think About Other Truck In The Future

wonder why you don't have many of them down by you guys? I mean there everywhere here in Ohio in dealerships, and a good handful on the roads. Just last week I saw about 15 HD F-150's all lined up on the dealer lot.
You would think people down in Texes would see a lot more of these things then Ohio would, but I guess not.
and no, they don't sit higher, just much larger rims then normal, but put a HD next to a regular 4x4 150 and it's the same height.
also the HD's we have here are all AWD trucks, no 4x4 or 4x2, just AWD

Heck, I want to lower mine. Not sparking the road low; but mean & low... And aggressive, middle-linebacker stance. at least level with the front.

I thought about a lowering kit... Then, the cheapskate in me said, just fill up about 8 sandbags, and plop them in the bed.
