Side Pipes?

Got an idea for my Harley exhaust, but want some opinions. I want to make the truck true dual, like the 02 and 03. But I'm thinking of putting on side pipes. Has anyone done this, does anyone think this would look or not? Looking for suggestions

What kind of sidepipes are you talking about? Old School Corvette side pipes that exit under the doors? Or Lightning style sidepipes that exit infront of the passenger side rear tire?

I"m talking about the old school corvette style, but I wouldn't have the exhaust dump by the extended cab part, but by the step side part (right in front of the tires.) I know there will be issues getting pipe from the manifolds to the outside of the frame, but I have a guy that can really bend miracles. I'm just wondering and getting input from you guys. Thanks

Thanks for the input, and due to popular decision and the fact that it'd be so hard to do, I'm going to stick with exhaust out the back. Going to re-use the original harley tips I think, but then again 3.5 round tips out the back would look awesome. Within the next week or so I'm going to order the magnaflow DI/DO with built in "x" muffler. Summer is here and its time to start making her sound as good as she looks!
