The original console that came with my 2000 H.D. was way to small for what I carry around all the time, so I had the console from my 98 Expy sitting around. I cleaned it up, painted it black, and put it in place of the stubby console that was in the truck. It bolts in the same place the original one did. I had to trim and raise the carpet in the front a bit so it would be flush with the console. I had to trip the plastic vent piece on the floor on the drivers side alittle bit, other than that there was nothing hard in this project. The results are awesome. The last picture the console looks off center, but I took it leaning over to the drivers side and there is alot of glare. Once spring arrives and I have a chance to spend all day detailing the truck, I'll post better pics.

Thanks! I'm interested if I'm the only one that has put an expy console in an extended cab F150. Even the 01 crew cab didn't have the full console. It wasn't until 02 and 03 that they used them. I figured I had nothing to lose trying it. I'm really happy with it and it looks sweet!
